Our History
Stormin didn’t start in a boardroom, but at a study desk. During their studies, Steven and Bas discovered something that never let them go: software can truly move companies forward — if done right.
They started building custom software for businesses and public organizations, driven by curiosity, craftsmanship, and the desire to do better than what they
saw around them.
What began as an idea quickly became reality. In a small room — literally — Steven and Bas worked on their first projects. Close to the technology, close to the customer. No fluff, just software that did what it was supposed to do.
Growing With Trust
As projects grew larger, so did ambition. Erwin joined Steven and Bas to further build Stormin together.
With three founders, there was more room for vision, structure, and growth — without losing the core.
Today, Stormin consists of a team of 12 driven professionals. What hasn’t changed: our belief that good IT is built on trust.
Why We Do It Differently
We see it go wrong too often. IT projects that don’t deliver what was promised. Costs spiraling out of control. Solutions no one truly understands or dares to maintain.
We don’t think that’s normal — and definitely not acceptable.

Stormin has grown from a small room with two hard-working software builders into a stable, committed team working on software for both businesses and public interests.
With craftsmanship, responsibility, and a healthy dose of down-to-earth thinking. Because ultimately, we believe in one thing above all else: trust is the foundation of good IT.
